Webb4 maj 2012 · I just put about 200 miles on my monster lvl 2 and stock slave. Mostly highway. My stock clutch had 94k on it and dirty fluid. The monster is noticably firmer and firm through most of the pedal travel instead of peaking firmness in the middle like the stock. I would say it is 15-20% more firm/solid of a pedal. Often - but not always - diagnosis of whether the clutch master cylinder fails (least often) first, or whether it’s the slave cylinder that fails first (most often) - revolves around where you find leaking clutch fluid. If it is found under the clutch area of the engine/transmission, it’s the slave cylinder that has worn and failed.
